Hideaway Ch.1

Ch.1: Discovery
   “Dad,” I moaned, “ we’re going to be late.”
Harry, my dad, had insisted on me going to my sister’s graduation.  Though I am only twelve I have been through a lot.  My twin brother, Garret , ran away on our birthday, January 22, and never came back.  Ever since that day , two months ago, I haven’t been let out of my father’s sight. On top of that, my mom died days before my brother’s disappearance.

Hideaway Ch. 4Ch.4 Friends        As the day past quickly while we planed how to build the dog house, we became really tired. We had gotten up really early and neither of us had gotten a good nights sleep so we went to bed early. Suzie and I were in my tree house while Garret was in his.
     When I awoke there was hardly any light at all out side due to the fact that the sun had not risen above the rim of the mountain range to the east. Some people would call that the silver lining but why, it was not silver is was gold so I decided to call it the golden line.

Hideaway Ch.3Ch.3 Hunting Trip
  When Garret got back with our food and Suzie, we sat down and started cooking the two rabbits they caught on their hunting trip. ‘Wow! That is a big haul for one hunting trip!’ I thought it was a big haul any way so I had to ask, “Wow! How did you get so many rabbits in on hunting trip?     “Well, we had good luck and an amazing hunter!” he said gesturing to Suzie.     “Since she is so good at hunting, can you get the water and start the fire next time?” I pleaded.
